There're many websites that pay for articles. You can register with them and start earning online. It's quick and easy. You need a paypal account and good writing skills. Most websites required high quality articles, you would succeed if you can produce high quality writing. They pay residual and an upfront amount if they pick your articles. There're some websites that only pay residual like Bukisa or Ehow.

Associated content or Helium offer an upfront payment plus residual. Text broker offer an upfront payment only and there's no residual.

One website that you can start out with is Helium. Helium pays an upfront payment plus residual for the lifetime of the article. They pay anywhere from $.50-$2.50 for each of your articles. You get $.50 for one writing star and $2.50 for five writing stars. You can also earn by writing in the market place. Each market place article can be around $60 or more if it's sold. If it doesn't get sold, you can still get an upfront payment offer.

Associated content is another website for writers. You can get an upfront payment and residual on AC. They have a very high writing standard and writers get rejected all the time for little mistake. They give you a chance to fix your errors and then resubmit for payment. All articles on AC need to have a source. They can take down your article if you don't have a cited source even if you didn't use one. This make people upset sometimes but that's there rule. They will pay you anywhere from $1-$10 for each upfront offer. You will get $1.50-$2.00 for every 1000 page views that you get. Traffic is very fast on AC so you'll get a chance to make some money on page views. They will buy full rights to your articles. You can also submit your articles as display only for performance payment.

Bukisa is another website that you can write for. They pay residual only. They accept how to articles, poetry, literature, humor, instructional and educational articles. They pay anywhere from $3.40-$4 for every 1000 page views. They're not demanding like other website. They allow you to post anything so long as it's original. They will ban you if it's plagiarized. The traffic there can be high too. The company is located in Isareal. They're very friendly there and they pay on time each month. I've gotten four payments from them on time. They don't bother you with your articles. You can also try websites that pay via Google adsense like Xomba, hubpages, and Squidoo. Xomba is a great site for additional income. I do very well on Xomba.
