Review of Pet Smart Pet Store
If you haven't visited a Pet Smart Pet Store yet, you're in for a treat. Don't forget to grab a leash and take your dog. Dogs are definitely allowed.
In a world where some pet stores sell pets they've purchased from puppy mills, there's a store that actually stands for something. You won't find dogs and cats sold in the aisles of Petsmart Pet Store, but you will find a store that's focused on finding homes for the millions of abandoned, stray dogs and cats that reside in this country. In fact, Petsmart has been responsible for finding homes for over a million stray dogs and cats since its inception. That kind of community action means alot to me.
But, that's not the only reason to love Petsmart pet store. They freely open their doors for you to bring your dog in on a leash to help choose his treats. And they do have aisles and aisles of treats, dog foods, toys, and just about anything you can imagine to make your pet's life healthier and more rewarding. Their stores are the size of a large warehouse with spacious aisles and lots of room for navigating with your pet in tow.
In addition to the huge selection of pet supplies, Petsmart has good prices. I've compared their prices to other pet stores in our area and they're consistently lower. As you know, pet supplies are becoming more and more expensive so a little savings helps when you have three dogs to feed.
Another positive about Petsmart pet store is the atmosphere. If you like lots of open space, activity, and the chance to see other people's dogs, you're going to love this store! On my last visit to the store, I saw two extremely friendly Rottweillers, a very well coiffed poodle, and a variety of enthusiastic and friendly mixed breeds. This makes shopping for pet supplies all the more fun!
I am also impressed with the friendly and caring staff at our local Petsmart store. All the employees I've spoken to have pets of their own, most of them, adopted abandoned and rescued animals. Their concern for the welfare of animals is obvious and they tend to be knowledgeable and eager to help you find the perfect item for your pet.
Petsmart sponsors adoption clinics for several rescue groups in our local area on Saturdays and Sundays. These groups bring in homeless animals so they can be seen, and hopefully adopted, by pet friendly shoppers. From what I hear, their adoption rate is quite high.
If I have one complaint about Petsmart pet store, it would be that their grooming center tends to be a bit disorganized and slow. We've taken our dogs there several times and have had to wait for long periods of time despite having a scheduled appointment. They do an excellent job of
grooming the animals though.
All in all, I would highly recommend Petsmart pet store as an excellent source for pet supplies and I'm sure your dog will agree once he's paid them a visit!
