How to Flirt with a Leo

Step One

Flirting with a Leo, shouldn’t be difficult. Leo’s have perfected flirting to an art form. Astrologically, Leo rules the heart and has the Sun supporting their backs. So, as the Sun shines on all equally, so does a Leo. Their hearts are wide open with an infinite supply of warmth to give others. It is only when someone blocks their effusive light, like a cloud the Sun, that a Leo will feel unappreciated and either retreat to lick their wounds or slide into other more extreme  tactics to retrieve the lost attention, by becoming a Drama queen. So, if you can’t flirt and stand a Leo shining their light on all those people attracted to it, like a moth the flame, you may have to reconsider conquering the Lion.

Step Two

A Leo loves expressing themselves and it doesn’t matter if they are good at what they do, it’s the expression that counts. Taking them out to a karaoke bar or bowling would not only engage their child-like passionate approach to life, but also help you share a few laughs which will lay the groundwork for more intimacy. Some feedback like: “Oh wow, you were great!”, or a good-natured, “you’ll get it next time,” will keep the flames going in your Leo’s heart. As long as you are a playmate, so will they be.

Step Three

There is something about fire that hypnotizes their souls, so if you can find a fireplace or a sunny beach, the warmth will kindle a sense of safety in their bodies and sharing the light is to them like sharing the source of their Being.

Leo likes anything that has to do with wrapping paper and gifts. I think it is more opening the gift and the entire process of choosing and giving and opening that enthuses them more. The truth is they really like that you thought of them and made them feel special. These gifts can be anything, from a cup of coffee, a theatre ticket to an expensive trip around the world. But for a Leo, it’s the thought that counts. So don’t go empty-handed.

Step Five

Last, but not least are their lovely backs. All Leo’s have erogenous zones on their back, they will purr in your arms if you find the exact place. It is also a way to comfort them through their very dramatic lives and focus more on the present with you.

• Though a Leo can dish out sarcasm and humor to entertain a crowd, only mature Leo's can take their own medicine, so watch out with your humor if it is directed to them personally and in public.
