How to get Ideas for articles?

Most people who just trying to start writing online articles have problem with getting interesting ideas to write. With the exception of they who are already a good offline writers, almost every beginner online writer have this problem during the start of their career. Even the author of this article have problem with that.

What is interesting from this problem though, is the fact that ideas and inspirations could be found all over the internet. In fact, there are so many ways to get inspirations for articles, that it is not possible for any single person to do all of them. You will have to choose what is going to work for you and keep doing it.

Discussion Forums are also good places for us to learn something and get clearer picture about certain field of expertise.

For online writers, Discussion forums can also become a place to get inspirations. Once in a time, people in the discussion forums you joined may discuss or ask something that happen to interest you. And believe it or not, whether you have or don't have the knowledge required to answer the question or join the discussion, you can write an article about it.

If you happen to have the knowledge required to answer the question, all you have to do is writing an article for it. Then instead of giving the full answer, you can give them a link to your article and a short summary about what your article is about. You can find the discussion groups that match your interest by searching the Yahoo!Groups. You can also find them by Search Engines using keywords such as "mathematics discussion groups", "physics discussion groups", "dog owner discussion groups" or any other keywords that happen to match your interest.

While it is not right to copy Wikipedia articles into any writing networks, it is alright for you to submit your summaries about Wikipedia articles. As we know it Wikipedia is full of useful articles, but it is hard for readers not to be attracted to open more articles as they read an article. Like it or not, we have to admit that most of us can only read the articles one by one.

This is where online writers have their role. We are here to summarize several articles together and turn interconnected links of definitions, into something simple and interesting for readers to read.

Note though, that Wikipedia is only your starting point. You will have to do more search and research before you create a simple article about the subject. Make sure that you learn more about the subject from several sources before writing down the article.
