How to Tell Your Husband and Your Loved Ones You Are Pregnant
Here are some great ideas for telling your husband or your loved ones you are pregnant.
- Baby Onesies: This was my favorite method for telling people. You can find baby onesies that say "I love my daddy" or "My heart belongs to Grandma" or "Gone Fishing with Grandpa."
- T-Shirts: There is nothing cuter than showing up at a party with you or your husband wearing t-shirts. You could wear one that says "knocked up" or your husband can wear one that says "my boys can swim." In fact, this could also be a way that you tell your husband by giving him a t-shirt he can wear later on.
- Ornaments: "Baby's First Christmas" is a great ornament to give to expecting dads and grandparents and a lovely Christmas present to recieve.
- Announcements: When you're ready to tell the world at large, send announcements in the mail. This is a great way to ensure that everyone in your family finds out at the same time. I recommend http://www.vistaprint.com for great deals.
- Flowers: This would be a great way to tell Grandma. She would probably love getting flowers at work congratulating her on her new status as Grandma-To-Be.
- Food: There are all sorts of ways you can use baked good to announce your pregnancy. You can make a cake (or have one made) that announces it for you to loved ones. You could also find stork cookie cutters and much more. Also, telling your husband over a romantic dinner at his favorite restaurant would be a great surprise as well.
