How to deal with short term memory problems
How does memory effects you in the short term?
Modern times do make you very busy.
You wake up early in the morning; you finish all your morning chores before running to your place of work. You come back again in the evening, and the routine goes on everyday.
You do so many things, small things in between, that you find it hard to remember. For instance, you had arrived in the first week of the month, and now you have to make sure that you clear off telephone bills, your electricity bills and few other monthly related expenses.
How much your mind can take in? You certainly need to remember those details; otherwise you might fall in trouble.
How would you deal with short term memory problems? What should you do to eradicate short term memory problems? To get rid of short term memory problems, you need to be organized. The more organized you are, the less you will forget.
Always follow a routine and be punctual in your work. The habit to finish work on time helps you to wipe out short term memory problems. Here are few tips that would help you to overcome short term memory problems.
- Never make a habit to postpone your work. If the work needs to be done today, finish the work today itself. To leave it for tomorrow might bring about a change in your schedule tomorrow. Again, you would be forced to postpone to some other day.
That’s exactly where you start forgetting. The best remedy to cure short memory problems is to get your work done on time. Never leave it for some other day.
- Secondly, try and jot down your daily schedule on your dairy. If you maintain a diary, chances are that you will never miss a schedule. Remember to note down everything that you are supposed to finish the following week. Also follow the schedule that you had written on the diary.
Develop a habit to maintain a dairy. Regularize your habit, and watch the difference that it would bring to your life. Your short memory problems would just vanish away.
- The more lethargic you are towards your responsibilities, the more you would forget. Therefore, always push yourself to finish the task on time.
Be relaxed and construct a routine. Do yoga if you can in the morning.
It is said that yoga is perhaps the only exercise that keeps your mind active, and helps you to remember even the slightest of details.
