Sex is not a forbidden topic

When people see headlines or newspaper articles on sex, it immediately draws their attention. Curiosity will always get the best of them. They want to read it. Millions of copies of Playboy, Playgirl, and Hustler are sold annually, why? Well, aside from the pictures, because of the articles!

Sex is not a forbidden topic. I hate to see people turn up their noses, and act all prim and proper like they don't have sex. Like they think it is a dirty, unspeakable, subject. These kind of people are still interested in sex, they still perform the act, they are just too embarrassed to confront the topic in a crowd. They do not want people to see them take interest in the subject.  These kind of people I like to call closet readers. In public these people will shun the existance of sex, but in private, they will read the articles. They will watch the programs on tv. Why is it these people have to hide their interest? Fear of being judged.

If a woman goes into a convenient store and purchases a Hustler Magazine, people may whisper, point, and act like there is something wrong. In reality, the woman is just not afraid of what other people think of her. It is ok to read articles with sexual content. Sex is an act that is natural and keeps one healthy. People need to get over thinking they way they do. Don't be ashamed. You don't have to have multiple partners at once, or attend festish parties. Living a monogomous life with one partner is totally normal, but it is still ok to take interest in learning more about sex. Don't be afraid to broaden your horizons. Learn more about positions, oral sex, different parts of the anatomy. Some women still don't know about the G-spot! Exploring sexual interests can be very beneficial to a person's sex life. Everyone has to learn, and sometimes, these people have no one to talk to about sex. That is where articles and books come in handy. So the next time you see an article, story or television program about sex, you don't have to watch it, but keep in mind, it is being published because someone somewhere wants to learn, and having that media available to them may be their only way to do it.
