Simple And Delicious Fudge In A Bag

This no cook fudge recipe is great for kids. It’s fun, fast, easy, and mess proof.

This is a great recipe for fudge that can be made anytime using a zip lock bag instead of a conventional pan. It’s a great idea for kids because there is no cooking involved and they can be creative by adding their favorite ingredients.  Fudge in a bag is a great  sleep over activity. Just set out ingredients and let the kids take care of the rest. You can keep mess minimal by placing ingredients on disposible containers and use plastic utensils for mixing.  Then, when everyone is finished and the ingredients are used up simply dispose of the plates and utensils, wait the apropriate time and dig in.  This no bake fudge us great for camping trips, birthday partys, or any time you get the craving to satisfy that sweet tooth. It’s sure to be a big success.

Ingredients:

* 1 pound of icing sugar

* 1/2 C. cocoa powder

* 2 tbsp. butter or margarine

* 3oz. cream cheese

* Appropriate sized zip lock bag to accommodate recipe.

Method:

1. Put all ingredients into the zip lock bag.

2. Zip the bag closed all but about 1 inch at the end.

3. Press out as much air as possible then zip the bag all the way closed.

4. With bag completely zipped closed, squish the ingredients until evenly mixed (about 10 minutes.)

5. Leave in a cool spot (fridge is the best place but it can be any place away from heat and sun including a cooler if you are camping) for half hour.

6. Enjoy!

*The recipe can be devided after the ingredients above have been added. This will give each person a chance to personalize their own creation.

*Recipe can be varied by adding raisins, nuts, shredded coconut, or any ingredient of our choosing.

Thanks guys. It's fun for kids to make, Judy. Maybe they will share with grandma. Hi Icy. Like you, I sometimes need a sugar boost too. This is a nice treat that gets the job done. Damon, hi.
