If you just gotten started with Bukisa, you may be wondering how to make a success of it. How do you turn writing for Bukisa into an actual Bukisa business?

For the purpose of this article, we will take a look at revenue sharing opportunities such as Bukisa. I'm writing this to help new members who have joined my Bukisa network and who are wondering how to make a go of things.

When you first start with Bukisa, you may see mere pennies trickling in. Do not feel discouraged because it takes a while for others to find your articles, link to them, and bookmark them. Once this happens, your articles will start to gain traction online.

Getting Started With Bukisa: Step 1--Setting an Article Goal

You joined Bukisa hoping to earn money for your writing, so the first thing you'll want to look at is actually writing. This doesn't have to be a difficult undertaking. Bukisa accepts between 250-5000 word articles. Why not set a goal of writing one 250 article each week--or, even better, if you are a fast writer, trying to submit one article each day?

At this stage, you'll want to create a body of work and develop the mindset that it will take time for your "Bukisa writing business" to get off the ground.

Getting Started With Bukisa: Step II--Linking Your Bukisa Articles

As soon as you have created a couple of articles, you should go back in and edit them, interlinking them, as I've done here. It's helpful to try to think in terms of a series of articles because then you simply place an embeded link at the bottom of one article so your readers can continue reading. Linking your articles helps to drive traffic.

Getting Started With Bukisa: Step III--Including Article Resources

When you write your articles, take the time to include additional resources. Readers are more likely to bookmark and share articles that include resources on the topic they are interested in. A reader appreciates having an "all-in-one-place" master article, that compiles resources.

Getting Started With Bukisa: Step IV--Using the Bukisa Article Widget

Make sure you use the Bukisa article widget whenever possible. The article widget works away in the background sending fresh visitors to your articles. You can set up a free blog with Blogger and install the article widget there.

Getting started With Bukisa: Step V--Bookmarking Your Bukisa Articles

You should register and join social bookmarking sites and submit your Bukisa articles to these. You will see the bookmarking tool to the left of your published articles.

Getting Started With Bukisa: Step VI--Starting Your Bukisa Network

Make sure you include your Bukisa referral link in your Bukisa articles, in your Bukisa profile, and in blog posts, so that others join your Bukisa network.

Getting Started With Bukisa: Step VII--Strengthening Your Network

You should also bookmark articles of those who join your Bukisa network. This is helpful for two reasons: you aren't viewed as a spammer at the bookmarking sites, out to promote your own work; you send traffic to your network's articles, thus earning more for you and keeping those below you motivated, as they see readers and earnings coming in.

Once you've mastered the seven steps above for getting started with Bukisa, you'll be ready to take your Bukisa business to the next level. My article series, What are Keywords will help you to optimize your articles for greater exposure.

Thanks, Everyone,
Try for the initial 50-article goal that I mentioned. I’m working towards this, as well. With the pending release of my children’s book, I haven’t had the time available so am trying to write more articles when things slow down.

Thanks for your comments and let me know how you make out.

Hello Everyone,

Pattern your Bukisa articles after this one and you will do well. Help others who sign up under you and, over time, you will find success with Bukisa. Thanks for all the supportive comments.
