How to Change, Add, or Delete Credit Card Information on your XBox 360 XBox Live Account

Get a new credit card? Your old credit card expire? Don't let your XBox 360 gaming addiction suffer because of a lapse in credit card availability! Here is how, through the XBox 360 dashboard, you can update, delete, add, and manage the credit cards you have on file for your XBox Live account. (If you want to take care of it on your computer through the internet, please scroll down to "Tips" for more information on how to do that.) 

Step 1

First, start off at your XBox 360's Dashboard screen. 

Step 2

Sign into XBox Live with the XBox Live account that you want to modify. 

Step 3

Select "manage accounts" and then "memberships" from the menus onscreen. 

Step 4

Select the membership account that you want to modify, and then go to "change payment options." 

Step 5

Here you have the option to add, modify, or delete credit cards that are linked to your XBox 360 XBox Live account. Also, you can manage your Microsoft Points from this screen as well, and apply them to your account. 

Tip

If you have internet access and are by a computer, you may just want to do this online. There is a link in the resource section that leads you to the sign in on xbox.com to log in and change your credit card information.
