Have faith in your ability

Most of us can do what we want to do if only we know how to overcome our difficulties. What is needed is firmness of purpose.

Have faith in your ability. If you have will-power it will generate a sense of sureness. When you are able to visualize the goal you will not feel disheartened. It will make you look up and say, “I am going to succeed and make headway in this”. Strength comes from an indomitable willpower. You must try to possess a strong will-power to overcome your weakness and weak thoughts.

You can learn the technique of success from clever political leaders. They choose the harder, more unpleasant field and yet keep absorbed in it. A leader delivers elegant speeches in public meetings presenting a rosy picture of what life would be if his party comes to power. You can do the same thing. You should talk to yourself and give an attractive picture of the benefits like money, pleasures, radiant health, you will enjoy when you have a qualified for a better job or when you have learnt to speak some foreign language or when you have learnt to get greater skill in your work.

Talk often to yourself especially when your determination is weakening. These talks will help you to develop enough motivation that will push you forward to act. You should make your appeal strongly personal so that you will be more confident than ever before. This process of motivation is important for your success in life.
