Before you decide your major in college, it’s probably best that you learn about the best career out there such as the high paying ones. There’re some majors that are difficult but the job doesn’t pay enough. There’re easy majors but the job pays really high. It’s unjustified sometimes but that’s the economy. A nail technician makes more money than a professor. You have to know the best paying industries so you can get a high paying job. The high paying industries are health care, businesses, legal, entertainment, fashion designing, constructions, engineering, and teaching. An actor has the potential to make millions if he or she is good at it in a year. This is not possible with a 9-5 job but not everyone can be a great actor.

There’re some industries that are more stable than others. You probably want to major in the industries that are stable instead of unstable. You can study in Arts but it probably has less stability than someone who majors in healthcare. You’ll have a harder time finding work and it pays less than other people too. If you open your own business than you might make more money but it takes time, artists do make great money in the long term if they open their own business. For example, if a fashion designer has her own clothing line then she can make more money than other people. If you turn your knowledge into a business then you can make more money than other people.

The healthcare industry is probably one of the most stable industries out there. It’s recession proof and it’s high in demands. A nurse can always find a job anywhere she goes. Healthcare professionals’ incomes are high too. Before you graduate, you already have a job lining up for you. There’re many different types of healthcare jobs and you should see if it fits you. You can study to be a nurse, doctor, respiratory therapist, x-ray technician, social worker, psychologist, therapist, and many more. The job is stable and the income is high. You have to obtain a license for each of those careers. The healthcare field has stricter requirements than all other industries in that you have to have a license and you have to be free of criminal record. This is not a requirement in other majors. The academic requirements are stricter in the healthcare profession than other profession. If you manage to pass these requirements than you can enjoy a high income career, it’s rewarding in the end.

The legal profession is stable with great earning potential too. You can study to be a lawyer, a paralegal, a police officer and all of these careers are stable. People need legal service more than they need medical service. You’ll do very well in the legal field. One other stable field is the teaching profession. They need professors all the time and you’ll get great pay working for the government. If you want to make more than the average person then you have to look at business opportunities. A business owner makes ten times as much as a person with a 9-5 job. You’ll have to give it a chance once you’re ready for it. The entertainment industries offer very high pay too if you’re sturdy enough to survive the pressure. It’s difficult being an actor or a director but it’s rewarding if you love it enough. The income potential is very high for people who work in the entertainment industries.
