The couples who are TTC (trying to conceive) know how difficult it is to keep up the hopes alive. After endless rounds of allopathic medications and charting ovulation by a multiple of costly methods combined, the advent of another period is very frustrating. Still, there is hope.

There are so many conception procedures available that the couples who are trying to conceive (TTC) try out every mode. However, failure to conceive results in testing of another so called successful method in the market but the results are same. All such methods not only deprive the couple of their hard earned dollars but also a frustration that nothing is going right.

Among natural methods, the ttc couple may resort to sex on every alternate day to keep the motility and production of sperms higher. It is a myth that if you try and try every day innumerable times, then only the chance of conception will be higher. The old wives tales say that you conceive  girl on a full moon and boy on half. Jokes apart, the more a couple baby dance in the peak ten day ovulatory window (regular cycle), the higher their chances of conceiving.

A nutritious det for the couple with lots of veggies and fresh fruits must be chalked out. Eggs, meat, apricot, fig, bananas, strawberries, pulses, apples, beans and lots of fresh water minus coke and caffeine shall increase the chances more. The lady must eat natural sources that are rich in folic acid e.g. beans and almonds. Folic acid consumption shall make the ova more receptive to sperm. Further ther missionay position is best as sperms are deposited deepest in this position. One may also follow the Chinese calendar for conception if the couple desire a child of a particular sex.

Baby dust to all ttc couples.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to have children and when my problem was diagnosed, one of my fallopian tubes was blocked and the other was partially blocked. I have often thought about contacting a fertility expert but the emotional costs not the money costs worry me. My partner and I would love to have children but I don't really want to have my tubes flushed or go through any surgical procedures. I'm hopeful that your advice might work but I think I and my partner will remain childless..that's OK, we have a menagerie of animals we consider to be our children. enjoyed reading your article Swatilohani.

Well a person learns something new everyday/night if he only takes the time to read. Right? I think I did when I read your article. Great work! Johnny Yuma
