Best Death Knight Unholy PvP Hybrid Spec 17/10/44

This unholy pvp spec is made to be a hybrid spec that is just fun to play. You will have a lot of crit with this spec and you will hit hard with SS. This spec will use your armor from your gear to get more ap. This is a great spec if you want to see some big numbers. I would use this spec with glyph of IT, HS, and glyph of ghoul. This spec is made for large number pvp where you can get to a healer with death grip.

Blood

The next death knight unholy / blood pvp talent you will get is 2/2 butcher. 2 RP every 5 seconds really isnt that much help in pvp but it is a filler point and it is either this or blade barrier. This will give you about a .3% dps increase per point.

The next death knight unholy / blood pvp talent you will get is 3/3 subversion. This talent is a must have for any pve spec and is not bad for this spec because you will be using blood strike a lot. This will help the damage out with BS and let you carry this build to a raid or two if you dont want to respec / switch specs.

The next death knight unholy / blood pvp talent you will get is 5/5 bladed armor. This will give you close to 400 ap. This is a great dps up and for 5 points, in a low tier, it is equal to a 40 point talent in fury. The great thing with this is that it scales great and when you go into frost presence you will get even more of an armor boos. Some tanks see a 1k ap increase out of this talent.

The next death knight unholy / blood pvp talent you will get is 2/2 two handed specialization. This is a great talent because you main nuke is based off of weapon damage. This will increase you damage by a substantial amount and scales well with gear.

The next death knight unholy / blood pvp talent you will get is 1/1 rune tap. This is a great talent, but we only have room for this one point. You will not get improved RT in this build.

The next death knight unholy / blood pvp talent you will get is 4/5 dark conviction. This is another great talent that you will not be able to max out. This will be very useful to you in world pvp because people love to pvp in pve gear when not in arenas.

Frost

The next death knight unholy / frost pvp talent you will get is 3/3 improved icy touch. This is a great talent for your ranged nukes. You will use IT a lot in pvp because of its range and it is always good when you can make it hit harder for a few points up in the tree.

The next death knight unholy / frost pvp talent you will get is 2/2 runic power mastery. Almost every build is going to have this talent now because it is just so useful to almost every spec.

The next death knight unholy / frost pvp talent you will get is  5/5 black ice. If you like unholy, then this is a talent you will get use to. This is now revised so every unholy build can get to this and make good use of it. Most of you damage is frost/shadow. This will increase 80% of your damage.

Unholy

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 2/2 vicious strikes. This is a great talent because you main damage attack is scourge strike. This will help that strike perform a little better and the crit bonus is nice in open field pvp.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 3/3 virulence. This is a great talent considering so many of your strikes depend on having you diseases on the target. This allows you to drop your hit rating to about 200 and use the extra for crit/str.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 2/2 epidemic. It is always nice to have extremely long diseases in open pvp. This will finish more foes that you think. In arena, 20 seconds will mean it will get cleansed before it ends, but in open pvp there is never a cleanse bot.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 3/3 morbidity. This is a good talent because you primary RP dump will be DC. With this and glyph of dark death, i have saw 6k death coil crits on high resi targets.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is  2/2 unholy command. This is a great tool in any pvp build. The utility is clear so i need not explain too much.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is  3/3 ravenous dead. Your pet will always be strong in open field pvp because no one FF on your pet. Your pet will have 100% up time and this will give him some more bite.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is  3/3 outbreak. This is a great talent because it again has synergy with scourge strike. This is a great talent and is a no brainer.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 2/2 night of the dead. This is a prerequistie to your perma pet so you have to get it.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 1/1 unholy blight. I have talked about the utility of this in some of my other guides, but i will recap. If you love to run into a big group and drop a dnd and UB, you will see some huge numbers. This is also great for group pvp because you can stand near the healer and keep them safe from all the stealth classes doing nothing.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 5/5 impurity. This talent only affects spells, but you will still see increases is BP,FF,UB,IT. This is a good talent and should give you 1% dps per point.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 3/3 magic suppression. This is a great pvp talent because 80% of damage in wow is magic. This will help vs mages, but will also help vs DK, Rogues poisons and other thing you would never think.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 1/1 master of ghouls. This will give you a perma pet and a stun for one point.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is  5/5 desecration. This is your main snare and procs off of your main damage strike. This is a great tool and is also a dps up. You really couldn't ask for more from one talent.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 1/1 anti magic zone. This is a great talent for those times you about to die and have to pop the oh crap buttons.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 3/3 crypt fever. This is a great tool and gives you a third disease. Ebon plaguebringer is the real talent that makes this worth the points tho.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is 3/3 ebon plaguebringer. This is a great talent and helps your dps by a ton considering it is only 3 points. I would spend 8 points on all these buffs but unholy gets it for only 3. This is a must if you are going unholy.

The next death knight unholy pvp talent you will get is  1/1 scourge strike. This is you main nuke and the reason you have this spec. I have seen upwards of 9k on no resi targets in open field pvp.
