Shriya Saran, the gorgeous and bubbly actress was born on september 11, 1982.her birthplace is Dehradun located in the state of Uttaranchal, India.Pushpendra Saran, her father works in Bharat Heavy Electrics Limited where as Neeraja Saran, her mother teaches chemistry at the Delhi Public School.Abhiroop Saran, her elder brother works in an advertising firm, FCB Ulka in Mumbai.
she is a very stubborn person and gets up early in the mornings.she has paticipated in many street plays during college days and was lucky to have the chance of acting with almost all the leading heroes in Tollywood.though her first movie, "Ishtam" didn't do well at the box office, she has got a lot of offers and became very popular after her first hit "santosham" .the blockbuster "Tagore" with megastar Chiranjeevi mad her even more popular.she had done some movies in tamil but "Sivaji:The Boss" with superstar Rajinikanth fetched her a lot of fame and after that she moved to Bollywood.her first hindi film "Tujhe Meri Kasam" did well.she was nominated for the Filmfare Best Hindi Female Debut Award in 2007 and was the winner of Stardust Exciting New Face Award in 2008 for the film "Mission Istanbul".she also made her debut in hollywood with the film "The Other End Of The Line" opposite Jesse Meltcafe.she was also featured on the famous "Maxim" magazine.
