Advantages of Living in the City
Clearing snow is a snap, and lawn care is not a problem. I really like being able to walk to nearby places easily like stores, barber shops and my kids' schools.
Clearing snow is a snap, and lawn care is not a problem. I really don't miss having to deal with in my yard, and I enjoy city parks once in a while. In the old place I used to hire somebody to plow the road, and though I cut the lawn myself it was still expensive in terms of my effort and time.
Competition makes things tend to be less expensive. Back when I had to shop at the little convenience store out in the country where I used to live, prices were high. All kinds of stores are closer here so I don't have to get in my truck just to get a bag of potatoes or some pieces of fruit. Even though I the personal touch was nice I know I can rebuild that.
I really like being able to walk to nearby places easily like stores, barber shops and my kids' schools. I can drive if I want to but now my choices are not limited. I can be ecologically friendly and walk or bike most anywhere I want to go.
The house is lots easier to keep clean. You don't want to think about what we used to track in from the corral. It's nice not having to deal with dirt and sand all the time.
