Some Information and Facts about the City of New York.

It has been My Home for the past 45 Years and it is Big, Wonderful, Crazy, Exciting, Busy and many other Things but never Bad and of course Expensive. It was built in the 100 years plus by Blood, Sweat, Muslce and Tears by Immigrants from Europe, South Ameirca, Africa, Asia to put together a Super City for such Small Wages. Many have Lost Their Lives and Building Rose High into the Sky. Each Time in am in Manhattan I See Miles & Miles of Buildings of Brick, Contrete, Steel & Glass. It has Shops, Schools, Colleges, Eateries, Theaters, Subways, Offices, Homes, Trees and Lots of Dogs & Cats. It has a Large Waterfront with Many Piers as a Hundred Ships Carry Cargo & People to and from Places. The Titanic was Supposed to Dock at Chelsea Piers @ 23rd Street if it Didn't Hit and Iceberg and Sink. I has Two Rivers the Hudson River and the East. River. It has Downtown, Midtown and Uptown with a Lower Eastside that Extends to a Upper Eastside. A Westside about the Same. The Eastside is 1st Avenue, 2nd Avenue, 3rd Avenue, Lexington Avenue, Madison Avenue, Park Avenue, 5th Avenue. The Westside is 6th Avenue, 7th Avenue, 8th Avenue, 10th Avenue, 11th Avenue, and well 12th Avenue is the Hudson River and the Famous Jacob Javitz Center where they have the Automobile & Boat Show.

You have Broadway Which Runs from Canal Street (Chinatown) and Runs Uptown (Harlem) Which has the Famous Apollo Theater and Broadway is known for its many Lights and Famous Places in the Entertainment Field Famous Theaters, Studios, Buildings like the Allied Chemical Building & Times Square where the Famous Ball is Lowered on New Years Eve Line Broadway. It has Central Park which starts around West 57th Street and Extends East on it's Width. It Runs Uptown for a at least 30 Blocks and it has a Water Resivior, Belvedere Castle, Strawberry Fields, A Zoo, A Rollerblade Path, It's Own Police Station, The Great Lawn for Concerts, Trees, Grass, Flowers and Many Other Things I may have not Mentioned. It has 300 Miiles of Track that Run into the 4 Boroughs of Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn and it has a Staten Island but No MTA Trains go their yet. There is Roosevelt Island that has a Tram to Connect it to Manhattan. It has Randals & Govenors Islands as well. Lower New York City has the 5 Boroughs plus an Area known as Long Island which is East of New York City and it has Two Counties of Nassau & Suffolk. The Major Subway Stops on the West are Canal Street (Chinatown), West 4th Street (Greenwhich Village) 34th Street (Penn Station) 42nd Street (Times Square & Grand Central Terminal) 47th to 50th Street (Rockerfeller Center) West 72nd Street (Columbus Circle) Not All Train make Every Stop the Westside. The Eastside is 53rd Street (Lexington Avenue) 53rd Street (5th Avenue) Park Avenue, 2nd Avenue and a few Other Eastside Stops as Trains will Travel East to West or Stay on the Eastside. NYC has over 9 Million People with Cars, Buses, Trucks, Taxi's and The MTA, Long Island Railroad, Metro-North, New Jersey Transit, Amtrack going and Comming into Manhattan every Day & Night. Yes it is Busy, Noisy, Crowded and Very Big But It is my Home. and I Love New York.
