A Work at Home Mom Management Binder is a great way for a WAHM to get organized. Here are some simple steps to create one.

WAHMs (work at home mom) need to stay organized so they can accomplish what they need to and still be available for their family.  A Work at Home Management Binder will help you do this.

Make sure you decorate the front of the binder and label it that it is your Work at Home Mom binder.  You will want it to look attractive and inviting to use.  It’s going to be with you for awhile, so make it look nice!

As a work at home mom, you need to figure out what you need in your binder.  All businesses are slightly different, so I can’t give you an exact list, but a few things you might want to consider are a calendar, a to do list, a goal sheet (long term, short term, daily), a contact list, a supply list, a supplier list, phone numbers, website and anything else you use regularly with your business.  Another thing you may really want to put in your binder is a place to brain dump, in other words a place where you can just jot down ideas as they come to you.  You may also want to keep articles that you come across and print out in your binder.  As a writer, I keep a list of topics I am considering writing about.

Next, you need to figure out what categories you will need based on what you need to store in your binder.  Write the categories on the tabbed page dividers and stick them in your binder.

Now start looking for pages to fit what you need.  I have included some websites with printables in my resources.  If you can’t find what you are looking for, then you could make up a simple form in Word or Excel.  Things like to do lists or a list of goals is easy to make up and print out.

After you have printed out the planning pages, use a 3- hole punch on the pages so they can go into your Work at Home Mom Home Management Binder.  Make sure you put the pages behind the correct tabbed page divider in the correct category.  Now fill in the data for your work at home business.
