Here is a short story with a twist.

Thirty minutes late now and still no sign of him.  Jilly was getting anxious.  She’d heard of men like him.  She knew she shouldn’t get involved, but he was too handsome to let go.

A tall, bulky man walked towards her. "I’m sorry I’m late Jilly.  I got an urgent call as I was getting ready and I had to see to it.  I couldn’t say no, because they’re my best customer."

She wasn’t happy and as usual, she couldn’t let the matter go. "Please don’t do that again.  I’d like to think that I’m your first choice.  You’ve got to drop everything for me, even if you do upset your best customer."

He looked at her sharply. "I can’t do that."

"Do you still want to see me?" she asked.

"Of course, I do," he said sincerely.

"Then you better show it. I’m not going to waist my time standing here and waiting for you forever.  It’s not right to make a lady wait."

He put his arm around her shoulder to comfort her.  "I won’t let it happen again sweetheart.  I promise."

She stared at him to see if he really meant it.  She didn’t want to upset him, because she really did like him. "All right, I believe you."  She smiled brightly, putting her hand in his.

"I’m glad," he said.

"Right, then let’s go to my place."  She answered.

He looked shocked.  "Now? We haven’t been to the pub yet."

She wouldn’t listen.  She grabbed hold of his hand and dragged Jason down the road and into her flat.  It was where she wanted him.  She wanted to know more about him and have him completely to herself.  Pubs were boring.  You couldn’t chat to one another, because it was always so noisy.

He was reluctant to enter when they arrived. "What’s wrong?" she asked innocently.

"I can’t do this.  It’s wrong."

She took hold of his hand and slowly guided him into the living room. "Take your coat off.  It’s warm in here."  She said.

He did as she said, slinging the coat onto the sofa. "Lovely flat you have," he commented.

"Thanks, would you like a drink?  How about a beer?"  She asked.  "Yes please." He said eagerly.

She took a can of larger out of the fridge and poured it into a pint glass.  "Here you go Jason.  Drink up, because we’ve got lots to do."

He took a large gulp from his pint glass and set it on the side.  "What do you mean?" He asked.

She sat down on the sofa with a drink, trying her best to be sweet with him. "You know, don’t you?  Try to use your imagination for once Jason."  She smiled, sipping her drink.

"My imagination?  Don’t I have one then?"  He laughed.

"Sometimes you do, but you get so frustrated with yourself that I don’t know whether it’s because of your job or me.  Sit and relax for once!"

She patted the sofa next to her and then he moved from the armchair and sat down.  "I’m sorry to disappoint you Jilly, but I know I don’t mean to."

She moved closer to him.  "Don’t worry about it.  It doesn’t bother me that much."

Her legs touched his, making him jump.  "You see. Your jumping, because I’m getting closer," she laughed. "Try to relax."

"Sorry," he moaned, moving closer. "I can’t help it."

They stopped talking for a minute, finishing their drinks and setting them on the side.

"Right then. Give us a kiss," he said, touching her shoulders. "I think we’ve done enough talking for one evening."

They kissed deeply.  Jilly moved back and tried to get Jason to stand up.  She wanted to carry on, but not here. She tried her best to move him, by taking hold of his hands.  They slowly got up together and she pushed Jason backwards.  Still kissing, they moved into another room.

"Why are we in the kitchen?" he asked. "Do you want to kiss in here?"

"Maybe."  She was leaning against the kitchen sink whilst Jason kissed her passionately.  "Jason, stop for a minute."

He looked into her eyes. "What’s wrong?" he groaned.

"I want to show you something."  She said.

"Can’t you show me later Jilly?"

"No.  I want to show you now.  I might forget about it later."  She said.

"All right then."  He answered.

Jilly moved herself away from him. "You see this, under the sink, it keeps leaking.  Do you think you could fix it?  I’d be very grateful."

"You want me to fix your sink?" he laughed loudly.

"Yes.  What did you think I’d want you to do?"

He laughed.  "Never mind.  The main thing is I’m a plumber and that’s what I do for a living.  Come on.  Lets get to work."

She smiled to herself and watched him bend down to look at her sink.  She was looking forward to seeing him in action.  She couldn’t wait to see him all dirty in his overalls.  It was what she’d wanted.  A hard working plumber was definitely something she didn’t want to miss!
