Ever wonder how to feed your family with just $10 a week budget? This may sound almost ridiculous but believe it or not, it is doable. Learn how in this article.

Impossible! you might say. But Crissy Thompson has feed her family of five with this kind of budget for years! If she can do it - so can you.

1.It is not so hard as it sounds actually. First step would be to look for coupons in the manufacturer's website and Sunday's newspaper. Cut these coupons. You only need around two hours a week, according to Crissy, to do this. But you can save money (lots!) through this simple routine.

2. Look for in-store sales. Stores always have this promotional sales where they lower the prices of the commodities. This is usually done during lean seasons when inventory is growing. An example of in-store sales is 2 cereal boxes for $5 or six pack of water at $6.

3. Combine coupon savings with in-store sales. If you have coupon for cereal plus the sale, this could mean huge savings for you. Crissy Thompson bought 2 boxes of Cereal for 50 cents a box. As a matter of fact, she bought $300 worth of groceries and paid only 2 cents by combining the coupon and in-store sales discount.

4. Visit one America’s best kept secrets: discount grocery shopping.  Some grocery chains sell groceries that regular supermarkets no longer want because they're almost out of date or feature old promotions.  Some of these products are discontinued but have not yet expired since the need to dispose them and sell at a discounted price. Some are promotional products such as a can of soup for breast cancer awareness celebration in 2007 but the soup will expire 2009. These products are sold at way below their usual prices. Buying from salvage grocery stores can save hundreds of dollars on your weekly shopping bills.

5. Combine all these techniques and you could be paying next to nothing for your grocery purchases.
