The Rights of The Write of The Writer

Spot > Poetry This little poem is about the frustration of the creative writers quest to put things the way they want them only to be butchured by some online editor who has no business whatsoever getting a paycheck for they think is an attempt at editing. If they don't get it, I'll keep trying.

Remember, some authors make you cry, some can make you laugh, but I can make you cry and laugh so hard your gut will break in half. When they let me.

I love to write a story Or prose some poetry,

but when you write for some sites They only publish one of tree

I say what the heck
Always use spell-check
My grammar is superb
I live in a suburb
The bits I write are funny
And all readers agree
But the publishers on some sites
Suffer from disease
Their intellect is stagnant
Somehow they just don't see
The brilliance of the pieces
They receive from me
But I will keep on writing
As I was born to do
With perfect punctuation
And funny things for you
With powerful exclamation
Because it's what I do
I will do my part
To keep this hope alive
I will keep on fighting
As long as I survive
There is nothing wrong
With anything I write
If they cannot see this
They simply have no sight
I'll write about a tree
I'll write about a fart
I'll write about whatever
Is tugging at my heart.
Perhaps they don't have power
Or passion with the pen
But as my pen starts scribbling
I'm at the center of my Zen.
I will keep on writing
And not give up the fight
I will write today
I will write tonight
I will write till I don't breathe
And(hopefully)walk into the light
