According to wikipedia Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other

users' updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length which are displayed on the user's

profile page and delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (known as followers).

According to one technology As of December 2008, 11% of online American surfers said they used a tool like Twitter service that

allowed them to share updates about themselves or to see the updates of others or followers.

Simplicity has played an important role in Twitter's success. People are eager to connect with other people and Twitter makes that

simple. Twitter asks one question, "What are you doing?" Answers must be under 140 characters in length and can be sent via mobile

The twitter.com site’s membership rose to 9.3 million which represents a 131% rise on February 2009. Some where on the web some

So Twitter is such a mighty. To tame this mighty beast we need some tools. Here are some tools

5) TwitterFox is a Firefox extension that notifies you of your friends' tweets on Twitter.
This extension adds a tiny icon on the status bar which notifies you when your friends update their tweets. Also it has a small text input field to update your tweets.
