Reasons why Stone Cold Steve Austin isn’t wrestling anymore

Steve Austin's injury prone career came to an abrupt end. It was sad that he had to go this way.


Look at the career of Steve Austin, he has been brilliant throughout.

Now, he probably needs time away from the hullabaloo of wrestle mania, and get on with his life.

He needs his body to relax a bit. After being in the thick of things for so many years, you would understand what his body might be going through.

Steve Austin is a legend. Nobody would disagree with that.

Though, it’s a bit unfortunate for the fans to lose him, but look at Steve, he has been battling injuries for a long time, and what happened against Owen Hart sealed the fate of his illustrious career.

Why Steve Austin went away, there were many who were expecting a comeback from him.

Perhaps, he was too hurt and the injury he got in his fight against Owen Hart was an aggravating one.

The doctor’s at one stage were very concerned when he got injured.

They had warned Steve from further participating in any wrestling tournaments.

The doctors had then said if Steve goes ahead with his plans and picks up a fight again. His neck could get damaged again. And this time, the injury could be lethal.

It was too much for Steve to go against his Doctor’s advice. And Why not, after all it was his life, and he has every right to choose what he thinks would be the right decision.

From a fan’s perspective, it was a real hard blow. To lose Steve Austin, is like removing a stand from the stadium. Such was his popularity among his fans.

There was severe loss and emptiness that was felt in the beginning, but then things began to take its on course. Fans accepted the fact that Steve indeed was in pain and faced a great risk to his neck.

Was Steve a bit casual in his approach? Is that the reason for his frequent injuries which occurred in regular intervals in his career? Was the last big injury could have been avoided?

Perhaps, you would like to think that Steve was too aggressive with his approach.

In the fight against Owen Hart, Steve Austin was a bit unlucky, though you just can’t blame Owen for Steve’s injury; still what happened was bit harsh to Steve.

It culminated Steve’s career to a halt.

He did thought to make a comeback, and there were reports that he would enter the ring. His instincts went against his emotions. He decided to pack his bags, never to return again.

Steve’s fan would always remember him for the entertainment value that he brought to the game.

Nobody forgets a legend, and if he is Steve you can expect fans to go berserk when he arrives at the hall of fame on the 4th of April.

he's injured, so he won't wrestle again.
