  • Their average life span is about 10 years, if you treat them well enough as your pet. Wild Sugar gliders die relatively early.

good article. I have owned and raise sugar gliders for years. The noise they make when they are upset is called crabbing. Also, I would not say that sugar gliders are harmless, All animals can bite especially when frightened and a glider bite can be quite painful.
