Maurice Pialat born August 21, 1925, made a name for his self come late in age and his career as an artist.  In the beginning Maurice strived to become a painter but with less fortune his work was not perceived in a way in which Maurice would have wanted it to.  Before giving up on his dream of becoming an artist of some kind, Maurice took a few steps back in order to see what was in front of him and then he began to realize that he used to own a camera at the age of 16 there by he received it from his father.  Mathieu went all over town or where ever he could and shot what came to mind.

In the year of 1960 Maurice released his first feature length film in which is was called “L’Enfance Nue,” (The Naked Childhood), just a few years later down the road and being in the business as long as Maurice had he had only released 10 movies, all ready to go no questions asks.  Yet with a short career lived Maurice was able to make a name for himself as the director who brings realism to the screen, along with shock.  With a reputation such as that the possibility of interested minds would have wanted to know.

Being in the game for 35 years Pialat had been able to see everything, and receive a number of awards for his effort.  From being a director, to screen a writer and actor it was obvious that Maurice had applied and a received great deal of respect no matter what or whom would be responsible for any mis-happenings.  As time continued on however the days of a man who played baskebtball, football, and any outdor activity had to come to an end, and it was the year and month of January 11, 2003 that hurts deep inside, along with her son.
