Don’t change your hair style to match your age; wear it like the younger girls do and put it in a pony tail or messy bun. . Dress young, wear bell bottoms and old t-shirts and remember; you’re not getting older, you’re getting better!!

Use lotion every day to keep moisture in your skin and help with elasticity to prevent sagging skin. Stop squinting your eyes; over time this can create “crow’s feet” which can make a person appear older looking. Wear sunglasses, even in the winter. Keep your hands off your face; rubbing, tugging, stretching your skin constantly could lead to premature wrinkling.

Use a gentle soap with moisturizers or oil in it to wash your face, apply lotion with vitamin E afterwards hitting those areas that are more prone to wrinkle like around your mouth, under your eyes, and your neck. Another way to retain your youthful look is to dye your hair and get rid of that gray. Nothing says “hi grandma” more than that head full of gray hair. Use a shade that’s closest to your natural color and nobody will know you dyed it. Say goodbye to those tanning beds and long hours lying in the sun; a light tan just to give your skin a glow is plenty but over exposure can really make you look older in the long run.

Don’t change your hair style to match your age; wear it like the younger girls do and put it in a pony tail or messy bun. Wear natural looking make-up, a little lipstick, and mascara are all you need. Thinking young is a big part of maintaining that youthful look too; don’t worry about your age and the fact you’re getting older, don’t give in to the conception that now you are 40 something so you should act like an old lady, keep the little kid in you alive. Dress young, wear bell bottoms and old t-shirts and remember; you’re not getting older, you’re getting better!!
