Carol Leifer is a stand up comedienne, writer, producer and actress. She has become famous, writing television scripts for shows such as Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show and Saturday Night Live. During the eighties she was discovered at a comedy club by David Letterman and has since become a regular guest on his late night talk show. She has opened for Jerry Seinfeld and Frank Sinatra and has written a book of humorous essays entitled "When you Lie about your Age, The Terrorists Win". Carol Leifer was born in Long Island, New York and is the daughter of Anna and Seymour Leifer. Her mother a psychologist and her father an optometrist.
