Idea #1: Create your own Gift Basket

Do you like the idea of gift baskets? You can head to your local store and pick one up for an affordable price but you can also get creative and make one yourself and fill the basket with goodies that you know your mother will love.

What to put in the gift baskets? Anything you can think of. Think of what your mother likes. Would she want some tasty chocolate or prefer some gummy bears. Does she like stuff animals? If so a little teddy bear should make her happy. How about a picture of the family? I am sure this would bring a smile to her face. You can buy a mug for her to drink her morning coffee or her breakfast tea. Maybe even add in comfy lounging t-shirt and matching pants.

Idea #2 Give her a Coupon Book for your services

You can also hand your mother a coupon book that she can use each time she wants your service. For instance, you can give her a coupon for a day of breakfast in bed in which you will make her breakfast while she is in bed. This is a fun and thoughtful way to do something for your mother after all that she has done for you.

Idea #3 Pick her some Flowers

Flowers are always loved by many; why not give your mother some flowers for her special day? If there are some in your backyard, you can simply go out and cut some and arrange it into a vase and display it at the dinner table.

Idea#4 Buy her Perfume or Jewelry

This idea can cost a little but if you can afford it, it is good to go out and buy her the perfume that she likes or the jewelry that she wants to express how much she means to you. It does not have to be an expensive one.

Idea #5 Give her a Stuff Animal and Chocolates

If you prefer not to make a gift basket or have not added these items to your gift basket then you may consider giving a Teddy bear with a delicious box of chocolates to your mother. Choose a stuff animal that she will like and it does not need to be a bear. It can be a puppy dog, a fish, a little lamb or even a tiger.
