How to make a Margarita Cocktail
The Margarita is one of the most popular drinks you can have all over the world. You can chill out and enjoy the beautiful flavour combination. For that extra decadence rim the glass with salt or sugar. (Salt is usually used with this cocktail)
Ingredients you require for the perfect Margarita Cocktail
- 45ml Tequila
- 14m Triple Sec
- 90ml Sour mix
- A dash of lemon or lime juice
- A lime wedge for garnishing
- Salt or sugar to rim the glass if you want it to be more decadent
- Ice cubes
Have a glass that you feel may fit the occasion such as a Margarita Glass and wet the outside with a fresh lime or lemon glass and moisten the rim with one of the above ingredients. Fill a saucer with either Kosher salt or fine sugar (salt is the usual for a Margarita) and place the rim of the glass into the saucer, turning slowly so that the outside rim of the glass is covered with either the salt or sugar. Shake off any excess. Chill the glass after this process.
Place the ice cubes and the above ingredients other than the lime wedge into a shaker. Until well mixed. Pour slowly into your prepared glass. Finish off with a lime wedge as a garnish.
You are now ready to sit back by the pool, relax and enjoy the refreshing flavours of this popular cocktail!
