Lake Tisza - visit to Hungary and be on holiday near the beautiful lake.

It’s a man made lake .It’s water is crystalclean.

This lake is on the Great Hungarian Plain, made by damming up the Tisza. It's  totally width is 6 to 8 km, the speed of the Tisza crossing it is 1.1 to 3.9 km/h. The  depth 1 to 2.5 meter.

It’s  a famous  destination  of the tourists  and  vacationers from  other countries too.

Around the lake’s territory lies the The lake consists of four parts: the upper one is the Tiszavalki-bay  This is a protected reserve for birds, and it is only possible to approach by boat. Downstream from the dike is the larger area of the Tiszafüred-Sarudi-bay, then the strait at Tiszaderzs and lastly, the Abádszalóki-bay of 14 km2 which is the most suitable for water sports; (the usage of any motor-driven sports craft is permitted).

The middle part of the lake is the  paradise for anglers, the biggest continuous water surface for anglers in Hungary with more than fifty species of fish (including twelve protected species).

From the lake you can travel to  some intresting places such as Miskolctapolca (Bath Cave),Eger (Arcbiepiscopal Palace, castle of Eger),curchs, minarets from the turkish ages.

The climate on the Hungarian Great Plain is very hot, and dry.

On the beaches you can taste the hungarian food like palacsinta, lángos, and others, such as fishes and can taste the hungarian fish soup, called Halászlé which is hot as the hell!J

The prices are  low, there are  a few excellent Hotels , or you can rent a house or room for a few days. There are campsites too.
