People and fear

A friend and I were talking the other day about how everyone is hold on to every penny they have, because times are getting harder, blah, blah, blah. But you know somthing what people don't realize is that the more people that pinch every penny they have the more jobs that are going to be lost. Now i'm not saying go and spend you're money stupidly or anything, but what i am saying is that yes times are hard right now, but that does not mean that you still can't go out to eat once a week, or buy clothes when you need them, or if you want to go to the movies that go. Just instead of spending 50 for dinner try and spend 30, or instead of buying a $60 pair of jeans get some that are on sale for $40.00. Because then people are still keeping the economy up so bussiness will have money, which means that they have money to pay people, which brings us to less lay offs. WHY don't people just get it? It makes you wonder....

Now you know how for an example on green up day if everyone shut all thier lights up for just 1 minute, how much energy is saves, not what if we all spent $5.00 every week on somthing thats not neccesary, weather its stopping at the store for a bag of chips and soda, or if its buying another pair of socks, or whatever. Could you imagine how well the community or even the government would be doing then? just think about it....
