A nice internet connected media library for your pc

Few days ago was looking around for a media library to organize my mp4, divx, etc library but most of all i wish have a tool more interesting and more interconnected with interned, one of my best request would be, after sow it a movie that i liked i wish to know more about the Actors, Director, or soundtrack, is supposed if something you liked then a closer one can like you as well, this kind of features is quite easy to realize this age but i dint fount anything like that, than i found XMBC, the homepage of the website, and the website as well is not really clear and you don't understand if is it a media player just for the Xbox or what, going a bit in depth you understand that is an open-source project available for linux, mac, pc, xbox and other platform, is a software quite complex and is supposed to be a completely independent device suppose to have a pc with a remote control basically it turn it in a killer mediabox.

It has many many features and is not for "google guys" is a bit more complex and the learning curve is quite hard, especially because the interface use a sort of metaphor that is not really clear for the beginner and is quite different form any other interface, but a weird interface cannot be alone a total disappoint. Of course is up to you. Setting up the library, is also not really intuitive but then, when you added the library, it scans the web for movie metadata, covers and you have your library as supposed to be, then when you have your own library set, you can find interconnected authors and directors. One feature that i really love is that meanwhile you are working on setup the library you can preview the movie and add them to a favorites list so that of your huge library you really can start to see some of them. In the end XMBC isĀ  really worth way give it a depth watch.
