How to Participate in 10,000 Smiles Project and Support National Head Start Association
The 10,000 Smiles Project is created by Delta Dental Plans Association with the goal to collect 10,000 photos featuring happy faces along with short stories behind the smiles. When the 10,000th photo is uploaded, Delta Dental Plans Association will donate $10,000 to the National Head Start Association.

- It is super easy to participate in this project! All you need to do is to upload a photo of your smiling face and fill out a short online form stating who you are, where you are from and why you are smiling on the photo that you would like to upload.
- By uploading your photo you grant Delta Dental Plans Association permission to post your photo on the web site.
- You can upload a smiling photo of your child, relative or friend on their behalf, however you must obtain permission of a person appearing in the photo before you upload and post their photo.
- By uploading your photo you are helping Delta Dental Plans Association to reach the goal of 10,000 smiles. Remember that once the 10,000th photo is uploaded, Delta Dental Plans Association will donate $10,000 to the National Head Start Association.
- National Head Start Association helps children of low-income families by providing early childhood development services in order to promote school readiness. These services, such as dental and health care, immunization, social services and a focus on parental involvement make Head Start one of the most successful pre-school programs in the country. Almost 25 million pre-school aged children have benefited from National Head Start Association!
