Micke's Own Words review on the Flash game Uber Pool

I'm sure many people, when in the presence of a pool table, have often played their own style of pool where they could hit the cue ball whenever they wanted to at any ball.  Uber Pool makes this game style possible with a few perks and quirks.  The object of this game is to hit as many balls as possible into any pocket possible for as long as possible.  If you find this game on some sites, the game may have the option to play the full game. It is highly recommended to click that option and play the game at Dragon Gamez.

The graphics are well done.  The playing field is a unique rounded 4-hole table.  There is also a cue stick, powerups, powerdowns, and different types of pool balls.  A white dotted circle in the middle of the table represents the area in which the cue ball must be placed if there is a foul.

Although the game play is simple, the higher levels add certain difficulties to it.  Your mouse position will indicate where the cue stick's chalk tip will be.  The stick will always point to the cue ball.  You don't have to click any buttons in this game. You just move the mouse around to hit the cue ball wherever you want it to go.  Unlike real pool rules, you can position the cue stick in front of the cue ball's path to stop it or change its course at any time, and sometimes that advantage is a must to prevent the cue ball from falling into a pocket.

The playing balls range from regular balls to a variety of other types, including phantom (fading in and out), drunkard (randomly swaying), Tiny Fred, dense (heavy and hard to hit), magnetic (draws the cue ball towards it), repulsive (pushes the ball away), and other types.  There are also powerups and bonuses that you can get along the way too.  Just simply roll the cue ball over the powerup and it's yours.  But be careful, because there are also some of these icons which are the opposite and will put you at a disadvantage.

You can foul by two ways (that I know of): sinking the cue ball (scratch) or the time runs out before you can sink another ball.

This game can be quite addictive as you get better at it, just to see what other powerups or ball types there might be.  Dragon Gamez has many games of this calibre.
