Step1Joining the military is not easy, there are things you have to do before getting accepted and here are a few of them. First of all you will have to contact a recruiter for your particular branch of service you are interested in, as soon as you have decided contact the recruited and he will schedule you a meeting with him. Most recruiting offices are located in the downtown district of your town. They can be easily accessed through your phone book or information 411. Step2Once you decide on a branch you will have to take an asvab test to determine competency for the military you want to enter. Don't despair, the tests are not that hard and if you have a high school education your sure to pass. You will also have to undergo a physical fitness test determining your elegibility. This test consists of a number of tests but the main is making sure your not overweight, have a preexisting illness or injury , have no mental health issues and are in general good health condition. Step3Once you have been approved for entry into the service, you will be scheduled to show up for your first day at the local recruit depot or training facility, here they will treat you like garbage and continue on for a couple months, the best thing to remember is do your best, the yelling and screaming is all part of the game and in the end you will find the instructors are not all bad, its just their job.
