Publix Mountain Fresh Ultra 2X Laundry Detergent -- Product Review

Last month, I decided to try a new brand of laundry detergent from Publix called, Mountain Fresh 2X Ultra with bleach alternative. And, so far, it's working out really well. Much better than expected, considering that it's about half the price of Tide or Cheer and cleans just as effectively.

And, unlike Tide and some of the other major brands, Publix' Mountain Fresh Ultra liquid laundry detergent is gentle on hands and won't dry out the skin. That's a big deal for me, since I have super sensitive dry skin.

I'm always looking out for lower priced household cleaning products that cost less while doing more. And this one doesn't disappoint.

Publix' Mountain Fresh laundry detergent gets out grass stains from my daughter's dresses and clothes just as well as the Shout brand. And, it leaves everything smelling super fresh. Most days, I can't wait to do laundry cause of all the wonderful aroma's emanating from my laundry room. My towels have never smelled so clean.

Due to skin sensitivities, I don't like using bleach in my laundry. And, it's bad for the environment. So, I've started using bleach alternative products like the one's found in Publix Mountain Fresh 2X Ultra laundry detergent.

It's so effective and cleans my clothes better than anything I could have hoped for. Especially considering that the price is so low. And, a little goes a long way.  Just one 50 ounce bottle has the same cleaning power of a 100 ounce bottle. That means, I can use less product and still get the same results. Sometimes, I simply use one half cap and still get the same cleaning results.  That's an even bigger savings. 

Usually, I can get about 26 loads of clean laundry out of one $3.50 bottle. Most months, I have to spend three times that much on stain removers; laundry detergent, bleach and other assorted laundry items. Since switching to PUblix Mountain Fresh, I've found that one detergent really can do it all.

If you're a mom, like me, you'll love the ultra cleaning power of this detergent and the tiny price. Usually, I'm not a big fan of store brands and find that most are inferior. But in this case, I was pleasantly surprised.
