A Review of The Book Prince of Wolves (The Grey Wolves Series) by Quinn Loftis

Jan 31st, 2012 by Juliebug

This book is very good. It has a mixture of being funny, serious, and mushy. It is for teen girls. I believe that any teen girl who is interested in romance books would enjoy this one. I hope you find this review helpful in making a decision on whether to get this book or not.

First off the title of the book is Prince of Wolves (The Grey Wolves Series).  The main character is a teenage girl named Jacque.  Other characters that are seen throughout the book are her two best friends Sally and Jennifer, Fane a werewolf exchange student, and Lilly (Jacque's mom).  There are a few other characters but these are the ones you see the most of.  Jennifer has a strange way of saying things which has rubbed off onto her two friends.  I found myself laughing throughout the book due to their sarcasm, and wit.  Sally is the grown up of the group and tends to keep Jennifer in order as she has a way of saying things in a way that gets under your skin.  Moving on, Jacque shows up at the beginning watching for the new exchange student Fane to arrive at her neighbor's house.  She wasn't careful enough and Fane winds up seeing her watching him.  Eventually they meet and Jacque finds out he is a werewolf prince from Romania, and that she is his mate.  Werewolves only get one mate so he falls hopelessly in love with her.  Eventually things get mushy between the two of them, but they don't get past kissing and hugging so there's no sex.  Due to her close relationship to Fane she winds up becoming the object of a local werewolf alpha's affection.  This all leads up to a whole lot of trouble for Jacque and Fane at the end of the book.  Overall this book was great.  It was about my favorite animal, the wolf, so how could I not love it?  Throughout the book I found myself laughing, tearing up a little, and getting a little angry at the other wolves.  Quinn Loftis writes well enough to let you know what is going on and feel the same as the characters do in the book.  I encourage you to buy the book for yourself or someone you know to read it and feel it.  This book is available on the Kindle through Amazon for $0.99.  The second book to this series is called Blood Rites and is available for $2.99, and a third book will be available later. They may be available elsewhere so you can try other places.  Amazon is where I got mine. I will post a review for the second book soon.
