How to promote your blog?

Many people have website or blog, some of them have thousands of traffic, some of them have none. If you know how to promote your blog/site, people will come to your site no matter what. Promoting doesn't mean you have to advertise everywhere using money, you can promote without investing too much money. Forum is a good place where you can promote your blog, there are thousands of forums all over the web. Now the question is, why should you promote your blog? The reason is to get good traffic. As we all know lots of traffic means lots of visiotors, lots of visitors means lots of advertisers, which means lots of money. It's like a mathmatical formula.

Some of the easiest ways you can promote your blog:

- Write good content. If you have good content, Google Search Engine will place your site in the top, people will be forced to check your site.

- Promote it in forums, that's one of the ways many people get visitors in their blog. Of course you have to make sure that you are not violating a forum's rule. If you are a member of a forum, put your link in your signature.

- Do link exchange with other blogs.

- Try Facebook, Myspace etc. - these social networking sites are great ways to get visitors in your blog.

- Try adwords to promote your blog, although you have to spend some money if you use it. It's profitable if you know how to do it.

- Submit your links to different online directories.
