Arlinda Ariff President and CEO of Iskandar Investment Berhad

As the helm of Iskandar Investment Berhard, Arlinda is responsible for driving investments to develop longterm, commercially viable catalytics projects in Iskandar, Malaysia which provide further economic, business and employment opportunities in the sorounding communities.

Appointed as the president and CEO since January 1,2008, Arlinda has been working hand in hand with her team to attain a goal of Iskandar Malaysia's 25-year vision of becoming a sustainable metropolis of international standing. Iskandar investment has signed landmark agreements with international brands to develop projects such as Legoland Malaysia, Newcastle University Madicine Malaysia and Malborough Collage Malaysia.

Prior to joining Iskandar investment, Arlinda was the executive director at KLCC projeks Sendirian Berhad. During her 15-year tenure at KLCC, she led the lunch of prominent projects including Petronas Twin Towers, Maxis tower and the NWO Car Park and Tunnels. Her experience at KLCC allowed her to develop strong negotation skills in dealing with international and local partners, as well as clients and tenants.

She graduated with and engineering degree from Syracuse University in New York and holds a master's degree in engineering from university of California, Berkeley. She is also a certified Project Management Professional recognized by the project Management Institute. Owning to her savvy with property industry, she will be one the speakers in the 61st FIABCI World Congress.

James C Park - Managing Director and joint-Head of Real Estate, Lodging & Leisure Group - Asia UBS Investment Bangking

James is managing director and the joint head of the real estate, Lodging and leisure group, Asia for UBS investment Bank. He is based in Singapore working with the public and private real estate, hospitally and gaming companies as well as institutetional investors accros Asia.

Prior to relocating to Asia early this year, James was a senior coverage banker in UBS' U.S. Real estate, lodging and Leisure group, during which he was in charge of structuring, executing and advising on transaction accros a range of products including strategic advisory/M&A, IPOs, Public common equity follows-ons, equity linked financings, private equity/joint venture fund raisings and PIPEs

Sector covered include office, multifamily, industrial, retail, lodging, gaming and specialty real estate sectors such as as self-storage, student housing, manufuctured housing and technology real estate (data centers). Prior to joining UBS, James was with Merril Lynch in New York, where he was part of the Global Communications investment banking group.

James earned his MBA with concentration in finance from Colombia Business Scholl, and his AB in economics from Dartmouth Collage. In 61th FIABCI World Congress in Bali, he will be one of the speakers addressing the issue of funding.
