An Interview with Edith T. About Magic Jack.

This review is written from an interview I had with my friend Edith who purchased the Magic Jack system.

My friend, Edith, bought the Magic Jack to plug into her computer. She paid bought the Magic Jack USB plug in for less than $40, and the service is free for the first year, and then $19 for the next year. I asked Edith to try it out and then tell me how she liked it in an interview.

I asked her some questions, and this is how the interview went:

CC: Thank you, Edith, for taking the time to give me this interview. Please tell my readers how you learned about Magic Jack.

Edith: I learned about Magic Jack online. I saw an infomercial and decided that it was worth a try, since Magic Jack is offered as a free trial. I could try it for a month and my credit card would not be billed until the trial offer had expired.

CC: How does the Magic Jack work?

Edith: It works as long as my computer is on. I plugged my Magic Jack into my USB port, and I had to do a special download to activate it, and make it work better. It works very well. Every morning when I turn my computer on the Magic Jack uploads and activates it. At night, when my computer is off I just use my cell phone.

CC: Please tell me how you like using the Magic Jack, now that you have used it for a month.

Edith: So far so good. It lists my calls on my computer, and it lets me know who called and what number they called from. I really like that feature. My son and daughter-in-law live in another country, so I really like that the international calls are only a couple of cents a minute. All my calls in the US are free. It's pretty good; it's a lot better than the other system we had. I have no complaints at all concerning the Magic Jack.

CC: What kind of Internet connection do you have to have to be able to use the Magic Jack?

Edith: You have to have high speed Internet.

CC: Can you use Magic Jack on any computer?

Edith: As far as I know it works on Mac computers, as well as Windows XP, and Windows Vista.

CC: Do you have to have a special phone to use the Magic Jack?

Edith: No, you can use a regular cordless phone if you like, and you can also use a headset. I have both. It comes with instructions on how to connect a cordless phone. I didn't have any problems hooking up. In just a few minutes I was able to use my new calling system.

CC: Would you recommend the Magic Jack calling system to other PC users?

Edith: Yes, I would. I have had no problems so far. As I said before, I had another PC phone system and this is much better than that one. My voice is heard on the other end clearly, and I hear the person on the other end clearly. I like it, and I recommend it.

We've had ours for over 6 months now, but for some reason my wife's friend wanted another opinion then ours. This article finally got her to buy magic jack. Thanks for doing that for her!
