Being a Christian
I love being a Christian and how it has changed my life.
I love being a Christian and how it has changed my life. I have never understood how much my love for God and my faith has changed my life immensely. It has taken me a while to get where I am at and I am not done growing. Everyday God shows me something wonderful and exciting about being saved and living my life for him. People in this world joke around about God and they want to throw him out of everything when he is the one that created it all. But as the bible says, this is how life was suppost to go, if God changed things then the bible and God would be a lie. Well it's God-he doesn't lie. People in the world say, if there is a God, why does he allow all the bad things in the world to happen. Well there is a thing called Free-will, which is what God gave us. He allows us to make our own choices, if we make the wrong choices, the consequences are our fault. Just like God wants us to come to him freely out of love, not because he would force us to. What person wants to be MADE to love someone? I know I wouldn't want to be forced. There are things in this world that are happening, that God does not approve of and the way our world is going it's getting worse. And it's sad, knowone wants to listen to what Gods true Holy word says, they want to twist the bible or believe there is no God so they can live and sin, thinking there will be no repercussions for it, well there will be. As a christian I know that know matter how hard I try I will sin one way or another, because I am not perfect. But I try my best not to. We don't know how much time we have left in this world, I feel it's best to try to live the way GOD would want me to live. I guess I could sum it up like this for the naysayers: Let's say what I believe isn't true-What do I have to lose? NOTHING, But lets say what I believe is true, anyone that doesn't believe and have salvation will be going to hell and that's a scary thought. I mean how hard is it to get saved? Getting saved is the easy part, it's trying to live your life as a christian that is hard, but it is so worth it in the end. But for people that don't know how to get saved this is what you say from your heart:
"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of a savior. I believe that you paid the price for my sins on the cross, and that you arose from the dead to give me eternal life. I reject Satan and any involvement I may have had with him, and I accept you as savior and Lord. I ask you to come into my heart and forgive my sins and deliver me from death. Amen."
. And of course eventually baptism and just trying to live a good life and repenting whenever you sin, which WE ALL DO, christian or not. Gods blessings to everyone.
