The bottle of Coca-Cola has evolved greatly over the last century, the original bottle of 1899 was quite square and rigid, as the bottle has evolved into something much more sexy and shapely over the next century.

This article will cover the evolution and history of Coca-Cola bottle from where it all began, where it is today.

The 109 Year Evolution of Coca-Cola bottle

1899 - A bottle of Coca-Cola was originally nothing too special. It was a bottle more square in design with glass in high relief.

1900-1916 - A bottle of Coca-Cola began to develop her curvaceous figure. The top of the bottle and begins to decline, just below the relief of the bottle had a diamond-shaped patch with the logo of Coca-Cola, as well as other writings.

1994 - The Coca-Cola Company finally makes the transition from glass to plastic bottles with a label with your logo and other information.

2008 - A bottle of Coca-Cola today is not only plastic but also contains reliefs as well as the logo of the standard label. The bottle has small lumps on the bottom half to help hold the bottle cap and textured to make it easier to open the bottle.
