How to make the perfect Mango Daiquiri

Mango Daiquiris’ are an alternative to the strawberry version which are one of the best drinks you can have to chill out and enjoy

Ingredients you require for the perfect Mango Daiquiri
(it is imperative that all ingredients are fresh to make the perfect daiquiri)

  1. 1and 1/2 cups of white rum
  2. 1and 1/2 cups of vodka
  3. 6 juiced lemons
  4. 6 Mangoes peeled and chopped
  5. Sugar syrup mixture to taste (Stir 1 and ½ cups of Caster sugar into 1 and ½ cups of  water and bring to boil, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves. Increase the heat and bring to the boil. Allow to cool and refrigerate. This receipe will make up to 2 cups of sugar syrup)

Method of Mastering the best Daiquiri

Chill a sugar rimmed Margarita glass

Mix half the mango, half the rum, half the vodka, 3/4 cup lemon juice and 1/2 cup sugar syrup in a blender or shaker. Blend until smooth. Add half of the crushed ice to the mixture. Blend until just combined. Pour into 6 cocktail glasses and serve immediately.

For further cocktails repeat using the rest of the ingredients

You are now ready to sit back by the pool, relax and enjoy!

  • The strawberry version of this drink is a modification of the original version which was previously never chilled as it is today and now a very popular drink around the world.
  • The Daiquiri originated in Cuba approximately around the late 18th century as at this time there was an abundance of limes and rum
  • The Cubans introduced the Daiquiri to the American army and navy which contributed to the spread of the drink that we know today.
  • United States have a special celebration day on the 19th of July called National daiquiri Day
