Something Bukisa Really Needs to Fix!

Posted Apr 05, 2009 by fresh / comments 9 comments / Print / Font Size Decrease font size Increase font size

This is something that's been bugging me for months...I've contacted Bukisa, but they never return my calls or emails. Listen to what I have to say! This affects you just as much as it does me...

TimesNewRoman//x:///X;//Shift:[[][TimesNewRoman//x:///X;//Shift:[[][ TimesNewRoman//x:///X;//Shift:[[][ TimesNewRoman//x:///X;//Shift:[[][ TimesNewRoman//x:///X;//Shift:[[][ TimesNewRoman//x:///X;//Shift:[[][ TimesNewRoman//x:///X;//Shift:[[][ TimesNewRoman//x:///X;//Shift:[[][ TimesNewRoman//x:///X;//Shift:[[][ TimesNewRoman//x:///X;//Shift:[[][ TimesNewRoman//x:///X;//Shift:[[][

What Bukisa desperately needs to fix:

Article limit.  THIS IS AN ERROR! I know because I've had to divide my most recent chapter in the Deception of Love into 10 parts just so that Bukisa would accept it.  Even though (I know this because I compared it in a Microsoft Word Document) my document was no more than 1,500 words, it apparently exceeded the 2,500 word limit.

IN ADDITION!

Bukisa needs to fix the bug in which causes Word documents that have been copied/pasted into a Bukisa file to overload the system.  Sometimes, it'll just refer me back to MyBukisa page, or just take away my article, and make me have to write it and/or copy and paste it again!!!  It'll then say there are "disallowed key characters" in the article, and it won't suggest any tags or images...Bukisa, you must fix this!!! (please!!!)

ANYONE WITH ANY IDEA on how to STOP this MADNESS, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT!  I AM DYING TO KNOW how to AVOID this darn bug, because it keeps REAPPEARING and then DISAPPEARING!

Thank you for your time and comments; please don't forget to tally it's relevance as well.

Thanks!

Not sure if I can comment again, -but MANY of the quirkie buggies here seen to have been fixed. Populating content seemed MUCH easier when I did it a few days ago… no probs at all!

Thank you for the information, I’ll watch out for that bug. I am new here only a couple of weeks, but I have noticed a few things that Bukisa needs to work out. The one that I am suffering through today is a Blog of mine which was rejected because of CAPS, I fixed and republished early this morning around 7am Eaten Time and it is still listed as a draft. Hopefully these things are just growing pains for the site and will soon be worked out.

Word! I hear ya! I stopped publishing for about 3-weeks, it bugged me so. I even responded to an e-mail regarding this. But I relented and put up another five articles, the last one I had to re-do THREE TIMES for exactly the same error you cite.

I can confirm this bug still exists, but why is this in the programming subforum? :S
