The Modern Trend of Family Life And Education of Teenagers.

The bacground history of the present generation:

Most of our adults may remeber their childhood days and their observation when they were teenagers. The Parents' expenditure had been concise to the income that they had. They had rather a terror to incur loan and handover it to their children at their demise. The disciplined themselves and taught their children to abide by this norm not to ask something beyond what they could afford. Panets used to inform their children about their financial condition. They used to inspire their children and motivate them to study well, learn good habits, never to get into conflict with their neighbors and the classmates. They used to inspire their children not to be jealous about the better status of the well being of their classmates but to be content in what they have and be grateful to God for atleast granting the present status of their life. The mother, the grand parents and relatives used to advise their children to aspire for a higher status and bring good name to their father.

The transitory status of family today:

Today the parents themselves are the protagonists for stimulating the competency spirit in thaeir children against their neigbors or classmates. Today the parents will grant the desire of their children even though its a waste or beyond their status to afford it. Today the watch TV, internet and the multiple advertizements and try to allow their children to distinguish themselves by possessing things of latest model before than everybody. Today's slogan is make money easily, make big money and acquire latest model comforts even at the cost of incurring loan. They can never suffer to see their children inferior to others. They spend any amount of money for their children to acquire toys, games items or any other recreational facilities. Earlier the poor parents never granted the possibility to their children to go for tutions. They were taugt to be attentive in the class, do their homework and pass with good marks. They never alowed their children to study whole time or play games for a long time. They supervised their children with great commitment. They compelled their children to collaborate in household duties. The parents wanted their daughters to be profficient in cooking and the sons to be expert in ouside work in the field,. Very often the sons had to plough the field in the morning and then eat and go to school. They had to take care of the cattle. The girls had to cook, eat and then go to school. They were free only during the days of examination. 

The Modern Pedagogy of Parents towards their children:

Today the parents leave their children totally free from participating in houshold duties. Children spend most of their time in school, recreation and tution. In reality they have no time for recreation but to study, go for the tution and watch TV. The daughters too get highly qualified but they never enter the kitchen. The mother looks after home, goes to work in order to earn and does the washing alone. She never complains but encourages the children to study.

Paretns training to thier children to be culturally competent : Today almost all children learn dancing, Drawing,singing and computer . They participate even at state level compition. The teachers who teach dancing, Drawing, singing and computers earn very high. So they are training a generation culturally very competent but family life is losing its values. Today individualism is growing faster. Today both the couples are highly qualified. When they do not agree with eachother, they they leave the partner and live alone. They may meet at bars, clubs or  at recreational premises or at party celebrations. So the children suffer very much. When grow up they too lose the values of family life. So living as single or with companion becomes a part of modern trend.

Conclusion

Its the society that shapes the culture and sets up the patterns and values. The majority seeks comfor but they choose a path of error and easy going. If the parents and Teachers take care of the teenagers and put a solid foundation of those values which lead to peace and tranquillity then these teenagers who will be tomorrows protagoinsts to shape the society will be mature leaders.
