Cheap rooms are available in every city in the world. Many people don't find the cheap rooms because they make their plans by simply calling a hotel and asking how much they charge for hotel reservations.

Cheap rooms are available in every city in the world. Many people don't find the cheap rooms because they make their plans by simply calling a hotel and asking how much they charge for hotel reservations. By following these steps, you should be able to find cheap rooms the next time you travel, whether you are going on a European Vacation, or you just need to find cheap rooms in a US city that you have always wanted to visit.

Instructions

Step1 Cheap Las Vegas Rooms You can find cheap rooms by the dozen on the website, iStopOver (i've include a link below). Once you get to the website, you simply enter the name of the city in which you would like to find cheap rooms, and iStopOver returns a map of the city with a list of available rooms. The listings for cheap rooms all have pictures, and most of the cheap rooms are people's apartments that they are willing to rent out for short periods. Most of the time, you will be able to find lodgings that are much more spacious than a hotel room, and cost a fraction of the price!
Step2 Cheap Rooms Paris The next place to check for cheap rooms, would be on craigslist (see link below). Craigslist is a little bit less organized than iStopOver, but still, you can almost always find cheap rooms there. You should also remember that there may be someone in your destination city looking for cheap rooms in your hometown. If you can find an apartment swap on craigslist, you may find free lodging for your trip!
Step3 Cheap Rooms London If you are traveling in the summer, you can call the local colleges and universities to see if they offer any cheap rooms. Many colleges will rent out their empty dorm rooms between semesters to make a little extra money.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you can't find cheap rooms using any of the above methods, or if you would prefer to stay in hotels, check out some of the discount travel sites, such as orbits or travelocity.
