Witches are one of the most popular costumes for the kids and even the adults. You can make the perfect witch with all the accessories

The body of your costume needs to be all black. Sometimes two piece outfits are the best with a shaggy bottom to a skirt. Consider a simple black shirt with an overcoat of a black shawl or a black jacket. This doesn't need to have a special shape, but definitely have the feel of eery. On the bottom of the costume, it can be a simple black skirt with any type of panty hose. The traditional witches were orange and black striped tights, but hey witches have progressed over the years.

A witch hat is an absolute essential. The pointy top hat gets all the attention and is the signature of the costume. A tall point at the top of the hat needs to be in full focus and along with the point, there needs to be a wide brim.

The face needs to be made up to look like a witch Warts are another essential. Place a few on your face to create the illusion of a witchy face. A broken nose can be added to be futher the look. Consider a few ugly moles and always, always consider the idea of a few scrapes and bruises on your face (made up of course) as a witch doesn't have a pretty face at all.   A broom to sweep over the sky is another great piece to complete the costume. A straw broom is the best for your costume. Kitchen brooms, while worthy for witch flying, just don't fit the part.    A witch isn't done up best unless heard. Cackling is a great way to get the neighbors to hear the witch at the Halloween Party.
