Sign up For Mars Exploration

Have you ever had the space bug or wanted to be an astronaunt? Looked up at the stars and wished you could be one of the few who gets to explore the universe? Well, now you have your chance! For the first time ever you can sign up and register to take a space craft on an exploration of Mars. The ship will be only manned by you and five other passengers for the entire journey. The craft will be completely automatic so there will be no need for anyone else to go on this mission.

Nasa thought this would be a good way to get them financial back on track for future space missions. The shuttle has not got many more missions to complete before Nasa is out of money. One of their representivies came up with this as a solution.

The Space program also has been working on this new space craft for over a year now. Apparently they are almost complete but still will not reveal what it looks like and they may not until much later in the year, but we are sure it will be a craft worth waiting for.

The journey will take some 260 days to reach Mars from earth at a speed of 50,000 miles per hour. It will also take the same amount of time to return to earth, but Nasa wants the exploration of the Red Planet to take up to a year to complete. They will give full instructions as to what you will be required to do.

There are a few qualifications before you can sign up though.

1. You must be between the ages of 18 - 25

2. Youhave to be in good health

3. You have to have $10,000. as a down payment (total expense of trip $5,000,000.)

4. You cannot be married or have any children

5. You have to weigh between 120 - 190 pounds

6. You cant be afraid of heights

7. You do not get space sickness

8. No fear of little green men

9. Be willing to be away from home for three or more years

10. Not be alergic to space food
