This wonderful park and amusement park in one of Phoenix AZ best kept secrets.

This wonderful park and amusement park in one of Phoenix AZ best kept secrets. I googled for amusement parks in Phoenix, and this one did not come up. I asked several people who have been in the area for years if they heard of it, and they said no. I just could not believe it, as it is one of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen. And the little amusement park is a three to six year olds heaven. The prices are very reasonable at only $13.95 for a all day wristband. Visit their website, and get $2.00 off a single pass, or they are also offering a buy one, get one free pass. (That is less than $7.00 for an all day pass) Entry to the park if free if you do not want to ride the rides.

My grandson LOVES trains

Visit the Enchanted Island (at Encanto Park) website and print off the web special coupons. Be sure to join their email club to get a buy one get one free all day kids pass. I have included a link to the website in the reference section below. Print off your coupons and you are off to a fun filled day. Go during the week, and there will be no standing in line. The amusement park hours are shorter, as they are only open from 10 am to 4 pm, but your child will have the time of their life. The rides include a train ride around the park, a mini dragon roller coaster, bumper boats, a carousal, motor cycles, cars, airplanes, just to name a few. There are a few others too.

If you are not up for an amusement park, the Enchanted Island also has a beautiful park with several picnic areas. The park is basically an island, and you can rent pedal boats to paddle around and see the park from water. The beautiful ducks and geese make it a picturesque ride.

So pack up your picnic lunch, grab a friend or a grand child or two, and head out today. It is easy to get to, not too far off of the 10 and seventh avenue in Phoenix AZ. I can’t wait to come back next year, and go and take the kids on a paddle boat ride! Our one year old grand daughter was a little young this year, as she is a little dare devil, and I didn’t want to have to fish her out of the lake!
