Use Bukisa.com to create content, share your knowledge with the world - you will be rewarded with your fair share of the advertising dollars that your content generates. A great way to build a passive residual income stream working from home!

Earn residual income by using Bukisa

Bukisa.com is a relatively new web site with a simple idea -- everyone can share their knowledge with the world and also share in the advertising profits earned by that content.  You are reading this article right now on Bukisa.

Bukisa is a one stop shop for how-to, informational, and educational content. It rewards people who take the time to contribute their knowledge, whether it's in the form of articles, videos, audio recordings, presentations, or image slideshows. Everyone has something they're passionate about, some information or knowledge that they want to share with others. Bukisa is an online community that welcomes these folks, giving them a place to share that knowledge and to reap the benefits as well.

Sign up and create content

So how does it work? First, go to Bukisa's web page and create an account.

When you are ready to create content, click the "Submit Content" link. You will be taken through a step-by-step process on how to create your content.

Once you have content published on Bukisa, search engines such as Google will crawl the content and index it. You should also promote your content by posting to places like newsgroups, Twitter, blogs, etc. (where appropriate, I'm not advocating spamming the world!)

So how do you make money doing this?

Bukisa will pay you based on unique "views" of your content. Unlike other sites that only pay based on people clicking on ads (click-throughs), Bukisa's advertising engine is based on "impressions" by unique visitors to your content. There is a number called the Bukisa Index that dictates how much you will earn. This index fluctuates monthly based on the overall performance of the website's revenue streams. As of this writing, the Bukisa Index is 3.72, which means you will earn $3.72 for every 1000 unique views your content receives.

Another way Bukisa can make you money is through a referral program. If you tell your friends about Bukisa and refer them, you will make a percentage of their residual income. I think of this as a nice bonus... in my opinion, the best way to get started is to create your own content.

Tips

  • Write about what you know and what you love.
  • Create quality content.
  • Create content that will be useful for a long period of time, not just right now. For example, a How-To article telling how to repair a leaky faucet is helpful today and will continue to be pertinent. That means future web searches can read your article and keep your revenue stream coming. Compare this to an article about how much you love E.R. Oh wait, is E.R. even on TV anymore? Not so many people reading that article in the future, right?
  • Remember, you're not going to make a ton of money overnight. I think the key concept here is "slow and steady". But if you keep creating useful content, you'll slowly build up a residual income stream that can really grow over time.

Full Disclosure

Full disclosure -- the link in this article is a referral link from me. If you happen to sign up by using this link, you will become part of my referral network. If you don't want to give me referral credit, please go to the web site and sign up yourself. That is fine, I'd like to see the Bukisa community grow even if I don't get credit for the referral, because I think it is an awesome idea. But if you do find this article helpful, please use this referral link to sign up for Bukisa. I would appreciate it.

I hope this article helped you understand how Bukisa works, and how easy it is to get started. Like I said before, you are not going to make a ton of money overnight, but this is a very simple way to try your hand at earning some residual income. There is no risk in trying it, so give it a shot!

Wish I’d read this before I signed up, it’s a good concise outline.  (I would have signed up through your link, too, of course!)
